Farewell to our good American name
Farewell our ancient glory
Farewell even to our American claim
On freedom's ancient story
In this black night our beacon bright
Is dimmed and lost in darkness
And yet I will raise up my light
And fight for my America
What force or guile could never do
Across these many ages
Has now been done by cowards few
For hireling traitor's wages
No iron or steel could make us kneel
No fire razed us
We were bought and sold for rich men's gold
And I bleed for my America
One single ray of freedom's light
Becomes a new day dawning
A thousand suns shine in my sight
A nation wakes this morning
And so my friends as this night ends
I make this declaration
I have come to claim my home again
And this is my America
