What a throwback!! To the surf-sixties, that is. A somewhat B-52 groove influence combined with Dick Dale guitars. Very few would have the guts, or songwriting talent to pull this one off. Way to lay-back on the guitar amp's gain. With the current Dual Rectifier craze going on it is nice to hear a good clean combo tone for once. Why wasn't this on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack? Thanks for the chance to listen. I will add this to my party music comp.

Well, City of God really spoke to me and where I'm at right now. As a member of the MORG, I see the good life, and I want it, but I no longer believe it. Your music is so close to my experience I think you must know what I'm talking about. You seem to have found joy in the wide world. I think I am headed that way, but I'm not there yet. And my DW is digging her heels in. Meanwhile, my TBM in-laws are making me insane with their continuous demands for shows of fidelity. I don't think I can do it much longer. I listen to your CDs late at night while I'm surfing and everyone else has gone to bed. I know this is going to be a long process and I'm glad I have your music and others of a similar mindset to help me through. You don't have to answer if you don't have time; I'm just thinking out loud.
