Some friends of mine got laid off today. I didn't. I wish I knew what to say to them. I feel like they'll think I'm better than them, even though I'm really just luckier. I know you don't have any answers, I'm just posting here because I have to say it:

This is so unfair! I know you talk about this in your songs, but that doesn't mean much when your buds are out of work. We worked for years! We did everthing right. And now, some have and some have not. It's hard to see how there is any loving God, I know what I've been told, but I don't see the justice in it. Me and my wife have quite going to church. It wasn't that hard when every where something needs done.

And not just in my back yard, in the whole world! You can't look at the TV without seeing the suffering blaring out at you.

I want to rise above, but the fact is, I feel like I'm sinking down. I pray. for us and our friends and the president. I guess we're all praying together. I know the he says he can feel us. I hope you can pray with us (me and my wife). Thank you.

So I would just like to know simething. The last time I saw you play in San Rafael, I wanted to talk to you. But you were gone so quickly, I didn't have time. Here's my question: Is Canta Succubi an original? And what does it mean? I think it's latin. but some of the people here at work say it's greek.
